Fantastic card. Obviously great for Swampwalk creatures, but it also combos well with Fatestitcher.

This card is so easy to use these days, and since swampwalk is sort-of back with Golgari (Sewer Shambler etc.). Thus:
Filth + Evil Presence + Contaminated Ground + Nighthaze + Leshrac's Rite + any old or new swampwalkers you want, and go to town.
Splash blue and Wrexial, the Risen Deep can bring Cthulhu to your shores!

It's a kind of a Evil Presence of Psychic Venom that really wants to get used for some filthy things.

This card is annoying, especially when played against you early on w/ a mono-color deck, My question is this: once it's cast, who actually controls that enchantment? Is it the player who cast it originally, or is it the player who's land is now contaminated?

it's Spreading seas in black
No draw, but the pain seems like a flavourful change to the card.
Looks like it'll work wonders on Naya and Bant.

In a way, I like it better than spreading seas. Spreading seas can be tapped without any harm, but this can add up to a lot of pain over the course of the game.

I want to play Black/Blue control with this and Spreading Seas. Because I know EVERYONE plays black/blue control...Right?
Well they will NOW :D
