It doesn't need derpy combo to succeed. If you can survive your opponent's all-out attack unexpectedly, you just cast this and counterattack. There IS such a thing as a combat phase, guys.

The strongest card in the game in multiplayer "IF" you can keep yourself at 0. Repay in Kind + Lich = a table of grumbling.

Perfect for my mono-black suicide deck, drop any life eating creature a few Sign in Blood and Harrowing Journey and possibly Demon of Death's Gate for it's alternate cost, then this. Now smash face with that cute little 9/9 flyer with Trample
