when playing with old cards some strange interactions show up. I wonder how many people other than myself have used this to hold off Divine Intervention?
Also, need an excuse to rock some homelands cards? Pull out your old serrated arrows and watch the synergy fly.

I don't understand the card quite well. Can I put anykinds of counters into the permanents or basically it just doubles the amount of counters ina permanent or only add one more counter of a kind a permanent already has?

This card is soo damned good in a deck that uses counters...
Pay 4 mana to
Add -1/-1 counter on opponent's creature
Add a Posion counter
Add a counter on planeswalker (Jace Beleren)
Add a Charge Counter on Everflowing Chalice
Add a Charge Counter on Tumble Magnet.
You do all these things with only 4 mana, very cost efficient, just doing only 2-3 of these actions for 4 mana is good enough.

This should be seeing more play in the current standard. Standard is dominated by 1 toughness creatures right now, and if gutshot is seeing play, a card that sticks around after it's done its job for ANY reason, is just as good in my book.

Glistener Elf + Viridian Longbow + Contagion Clasp. Who needs to declare attackers?
