A Tempered Steel Overseer is still within bolt range, sadly.

Anyone else have the crazy idea of using this in a control(ish) deck alongside artifact infect creatures? A permanent +2/+2 pump is pretty significant not to mention the control could help protect your vulnerable creatures....

@tcollins
I don't know about a control deck.(Maybe aggro control, with Sword of Feast and Famineto open up your mana base for counters and removal?)
But I have seen Infect Artifact aggro using this to help boost their dudes. I feel we really need more artifact infectors first thought...Perfereably more cheap ones.

NPH has made this card amazing with loads of good creatures to work with.

In a Myr deck? Solid, though unless you have the space for 4 of each (which I don't) I'd rather have more Galvanizers than this.
In any other atrifact-heavy deck? Priceless. Like people are saying, couple this with steel overseer and your oppenent will not see the end of turn 5.

This card is absolutely devastating with some of the new artifact creatures in NPH. The format requires you to carry enchantment removal or begin trading you're 6CMC creatures for chump blockers that are even bigger.

So, looks like "Affinity" is back.

This card stops a person from making friends and drives current friends to rage mode. It should have been +1/2 like Kloid says
