This would be astounding if it could target players. As is it is still playable. Alternate casting costs are always good, even if they are somewhat steep.

This card is a beast.

Alternative cost is amazing, I got 4 copies of it in my fun/casual izzet cyclops/goblin electromancer deck. turn 4 savage beating for double strike and this for clearing the path for cyclops on a daily basis, same thing turn 3 when seething song/reckless charge in the pocket.

Love it.
