How is Kird Ape Mythic rare and on the "exiled list" Yet they reprint the same thing in white? Was it to keep it out of jund? but still you cant print something OP in a different color and call it different.

In another 10 years there will be another from the vault with this in it...
What a waste of money.

I don't like R&D for making white creatures as dumb as red ones. This drawback is much easier to overcome than 'as long as ~ is equipped', it's more stable, and it could be a turn 1 2/3 with the right dual lands (making it harder to kill with non-lightning burn spells). So why not reprinting kird ape??? Did R&D thought that a white Kird Ape would stop the Jund or Monored dominance in Standard??? What a pitty that the usual 'let's print another powerhouse to balance the last inbalance & creating a new one' didn't work this time.

Once again, a lion is white's best one drop.

Kird Ape was banned because of the dual lands, and solely because of the dual lands. Now that they're out of Standard, and only the shocklands are in Extended, they figured it was OK to print this.
Love this card, by the way. I played a black/white deck at the prerelease that splashed three forests just for two of these, no green cards.
