i think this card works with changlings because the eldrazi type is a creature type it seems. Legendary creature- eldrazi..... cheaper changlings, not a bad thing. Cheaper super uber stompy CA beaters, AWESOME!!!!!!

If you still think this card is useless google search Kozilek, Butch of Truth.

@duke_g They printed it in Worldwake because that is where it falls in the story. They don't always print cards to please limited formats... if anything it is a nice 10-15 dollar rare draft so grab them while you can.

Painter's Servant renders this card absolutely useless.

@phlip45 and rrrof711: That would be cool, except Eye of Ugin says COLORLESS Eldrazi spells. There are no colorless changeling spells.
edit:
@ lz17: That's a really cool interaction, except Eye of Ugin is a LEGENDARY land. Unless they reprint Mirror Gallery you can only have 1 Eye of Ugin in play at a time. As soon as you play a second one, or when your opponent plays one, they both blow up.

Umm... Cloudpost, anyone? The Eye may give you two additional mana to cast your Eldrazies, but Cloudpost is more than capable of casting Emrakul, the Aeons Torn on your 5th turn :D

This card just plain rocks. Legendary notwithstanding, I'll be running four in my Eldrazi deck. It makes All Is Dust incredibly easy to cast, and it tutors up win conditions. With the right kind of acceleration, Kozilek is easily playable by turn 5.

Now I am really regretting for not buying a copy of this card.
