Flavor-wise my fave Eldrazi next to Emrakul, The Aeons Torn. Emrakul tickles my Lovecraft Timmynator pea green, and this tickles my Neon Genesis Evangelion Fan-Within! :D
Play-wise, this one beats all, even the titans. I love how it turns Diabolic Edict into a permanent Ray Of Command.
Also, the name is utterly brilliant. I shiver when I read it.

Anybody knows whether ItB would work well with Living Death?
Some people think that the mass sacrifice would trigger ItB's second ability, while others say that ItB's second ability would not trigger because it's sacrificed as well, all at the same time.
Some reminders from the Comp Rules October 1st 2010:
101.4. If multiple players would make choices and/or take actions at the same time, the active player (the player whose turn it is) makes any choices required, then the next player in turn order (usually the player seated to the active player’s left) makes any choices required, followed by the remaining nonactive players in turn order. Then the actions happen simultaneously. This rule is often referred to as the “Active Player, Nonactive Player (APNAP) order” rule.
Example: A card reads “Each player sacrifices a creature.” First, the active player chooses a creature he or she controls. Then each of the nonactive players, in turn order, chooses a crea... (see all)

YES! This is one of the two card from the whooooolllle set I wanted to find at the prerelease (the other being Lightmine Field) and I GOT "IT..." in my third pack! I couldn't have been happier.
I got to play him twice and it was ghastly to see his power.
Now I'm off to make a deck based around him...mwahahahah...
Edit: I found a great strategy to get IT out quick through the graveyard. And when IT hits the battlefield, he notices that a Grave Pact has already been made.

This card also touches my Evangelion nerve. The art, the name, the flavor text all give me that creepy feeling that I get when think of the Angels from that series.
Which brings me to Ideatog's comment.
That's just what is so scary about the Angels, and this thing on the same flavor. They're like intra-planar children. They have no sense of pain and mercy, and their lack of understanding when it comes to morality goes way beyond mortal scope. That's what scares me about the Angels, and by that token; this card gives me the willies.

Turn 1: discard It that betrays
turn 2: Play a swamp
Turn 3: Play a Plain, Animate Dead It That Betrays
Turn 4: Play Balance then play your land.
