Dude this is BAD A**. I just don't know if I really like the eldrazi yet. We'll see, I hope they aren't too powerful. I trust R&D to do us well though!

I think some of you are missing the part in the text that says "When an OPPONENT sacrifices a permanent." You can't use it to keep the stuff you have to sacrifice to use Harrow or creatures with Devour.

The Eldrazi are just another reason Channel is just not right.

Hmmm, so butcher of malakir, gravepact, world queller, mortician beetle, and so on?
Looks like the lord of sacrifice deck, rather than an eldrazi. Could do interesting things with this and consuming vapors and hand of emrakul. Even a fleshbag marauder or cruel edict could create some interesting plays.
Also, this card and all is dust.. seriously? I mean yes you need a lot of mana, but talk about a game ending play. All your opponents stuff is dead and you get it on your side while keeping your giant annihalator creature.

multiplayer 3 ppl, with two players with each one of these, and a terramorphic expanse would be fun:)

I can see two good combos you could do with It That Betrays:
1) Other Annihilator cards (Eldrazi or Eldrazi Consri ption), which I already expect people would be doing.
2) Grave Pact and a Devour deck (though any deck where you generate lots of little creatures and destroy them for whatever reason would work as well).

An interesting question.
In a free-for-all, 4 players, player A and B both have It That Betrays, and while Player C and D is sacrificing permanents, who gets the the sacrifice? What happens here?

I got this in my second ROE booster. I then stuck it in my red-blue deck...
We both had bad hands. I had too much mana my opponent had too little.
I hade a rite of replication & an izzet guildmage but there were no good creatures
I draw this little ( big big big ) guy played him ( opponent gasps ) next turn I kick rite of rep and duplicate.
I gave 11 of these and opponent stopsbreathing.
There are too many good ways to use this card and I think it's a bit OP aside from being costly as hell.
I removed it from my RU deck because of it's difficulty to summon in a slow-mana deck.
Also had fun snatching a planeswalker w/ this =)

For casual play, combine it with Pernicious Deed.
