The worst part..
Razor Boomerang is dealing the damage, so it does not even combo with deathtouch or infect.

this is a first for me. I have never voted a card below 1 before. too bad I can't figure out how to register a vote of 0. Would have been weak at common, but I guess the other colors needed some sort of comparable effect to cunning sparkmage at uncommon. Oh, did I say comparable, I meant miserably worse than, to the point of disgrace.
Here's a suggestion for WWK drafts. Instead of the land challenge, try the razor boomerang challenge! Draft every razor boomerang you see (don't worry, they will be passed to you) and put them all in your deck, then go 4-0!

maybe it would be better off putting a -1/-1 counter on target creature. it would fit with the flavor of 'losing a finger', unless the target is at 1 toughness, in which case it takes a bit more.

Ah, retarded cow slayer. I know it well. Also, I swear I will make an actual boomerang out of 50 of these one day. I'm pretty good at origami.

If you can convince the opponent that the equipped creature is the "owner" of the boomerang, this card is free to use turn after turn.
Alternatively, just throw the card at a pesky opponent and watch them leap back and flee: for they know as well as you that few can catch it without losing a finger.
