@theis999: this card certainly does not suck. You obviously use it in a deck with Angels and the likes of them, a deck that has the mana to cast it and evasive creatures worth casting it on.
Also, to help casting it you can use Academy Rector.

So, let's elaborate on the False Cure thing and create the stupidest instant win ever!
1) Connect with the Mantled creature
2) Mantle's ability goes on the stack
3) Quickened Donate the creature
4) False Cure
5) Collect win that would have been more easily obtained with a simple Beacon of Immortality
Foolproof!

I was playing a game with my friend and he played this and eventually got to over 36000 life; he scooped when I played near death experience with exactly the life to win.

I was playing an EDH game against my friend who had a lot of fun with this. He ended up doubling his life total to over 600, and at the end of the 3-hour-plus game...I won by killing him with general damage :P . Fun times.

Attracts as much removal as Felidar Sovereign... so put it on one!

One of the more entertaining enchantments when paired with double strike. Who needs blockers in a big multiplayer game when you're massive ramping your life total between a Spirit Link, Celestial Mantle, and Battle Mastery?
please
P.S. I do dream of the day I get Battle Mastery and 4 Celestial Mantles on the same creature. x256 life? Yes, please!

This plus Invisible Stalker would make a great combo.

This really is quite an annoying card. In a life gain deck, you usually waste enough time to get to a 6 drop. With ramp skies the limit. Definitely playable and fun.
