@Ragamander Actually, the entire reason Guile still reads "play" instead of "Cast" is for one card, the land Zoetic Cavern. If cast for it's morph cost and countered by Guile, it will be exiled as a land, of which can then only be played, not cast.

What an awesome card.
Whenever a card does something it's color usually can't, it makes the card that much better. Even though everyone knows about this card, I still find that people arent really expecting to see counterspells in Black. This card in Blue wouldnt be nearly as amazing. Just like Psionic Blast wouldnt be a very interesting card at all if it were Red.
I play a Black and Blue deck. In a perfect world, my draw has a Dark Ritual and some artifact mana, turn one I play a Juzam Djinn, turn 2 a Nether Void. Even a Swords To Plowshares or an Unsummon needs 4 mana to cast at that point.
