You wouldn't necessarily need haste if you had out Opalescence and copied this with the token. You could have a sac engine like a Fallen Angel, Nantuko Husk etc for massive creatures, or Ashnod's Altar for infinite colorless mana or Pandemonium to simply kill your opponent.

You can play this insanely early, but I can't imagine why you'd want to- early creatures are weak, and you'd lose BlueBlue every turn to just keep a weak crature around. But in the late game, this is crazy, and BlueBlue is definitely worth it in most cases.

No, Opalescence wouldn't cause it to create infinite creatures, it would just make it a creature named Dance of Many in addition to being an enchantment.

Best two blue spent in a while! I would use it for land D though avalanche riders n man o wars and sowers of temptation million and one uses but no reprints. =S
