The best use I can see in this is his warrior subtype. Other than that he's pretty old school fail

OMG I love this card! The epic flavour that has nothing to do with a 6/5 vanilla, not much cunning about that. This, combined with an absurd multicoloured mana cost and an art that looks like a sketch, even by the standard of those days, it's so hilariously epic fail :D

I mean, it's not easy for a human to get to 6/5 straight combat ability. Ignoring that casting cost he's got to be a badass for that.
Does "appearance" have some archaic meaning I might not know? Because I don't see how his appearance is either devious or cunning.
