Hydras are at home in both green and red, and sometimes, in both at once. This could be reprinted. Probably as an uncommon though, he's not as good as he once was.

Back in the day, playing this with Mana Flare was fun!
There were far fewer ways to flat-out remove a creature back then, and games were slow enough to make the Mana Flare silliness worthwhile. Still, the poor Hydra did tend to get chump-blocked by regenerating creatures. I'd still like to see this reprinted someday just for old-times sake.
