If he was a 6/5, he wouldn't be THAT bad.
As he is, you'd end up feeding him half an army to keep him alive with all the burn spells that can kill him nowadays.

There are currently two 4BlackBlack 6/3 creatures: Corrupted Harvester and its better, rarer, granddad Laquatus's Champion.
Also interesting: each has a 4Black 3/2 flying counterpart with similar abilities: Skeletal Kathari and Soul Scourge.

Drop the black cost from the ability and it'd be a 3 I think.

This is the Phyrexized version of greater harvester . It doesn't seem like all that glistening oil did it any favors.

While this isn't a very good card (particularly in comparison to Twisted Abomination), its ability IS useful. It is NOT "basically a 6/3 with no ability for 6." Would you rather keep your 1/1 or your 6/3?
