One of my favorite creatures to staple this to is Skyhunter Skirmisher. Things get pretty insane after that.

I can't begin to count how many casual games I've won against friends (both in 1v1 and in 2HG) with this card. I use it in my mono white soldier and my mono white ally deck. It is a game changer if the opponent is not prepared. At the least, it's a scary distraction. 5/5

I hope this sees play in standard with Mirran Crusader

You'll notice that the guy on the horse is wearing the same armor and shield as the Nightguard Patrol from the Ravinca: City of Guilds expansion.

This thing is evil. I lost to this in the draft.
I also like that artwork.

great in monowhite, risky in some situations though, use it with a spell ready to protect it

Why does white keep getting this card but they dropped Blanchwood Armor out of green, a color where a card like this actually makes sense? =|

@Cheza :: Ever hear of an Enchantment called Blessing? Apparently not. Ever hear of the white sweep spells that give a creature or creatures +1/+1 for each Plains returned to your hand by the spell? Apparently not. This is very much a white flavor, and would agree with you if the card referred to swamps you control as that is very much not white, but it doesn't and therefore I don't.

Of all the Ascension cycle, this one has the easiest pre-requisites to fill. It doesn't even need quest counters! :P
