Mycoloth is the key to making this work in a token deck. Haven't gotten one yet, but when i do it's going in my deck with mycoloth, forgot ancient, and paradox haze.

real game I just had...
Turn 1: I play Eladamri's Vineyard
Turn 2: I play Garruk Wildspeaker and Llanowar Elves using garruk's ability
Turn 3: I play Rampaging Baloths, THEN play a land, giving me a 4/4 baloth
Turn 4: I play Pelakka Wurm.
Turn 5: I use Garruk's final, then play Overwhelming Stampede. My biggest creature is a 10/10 pelakka wurm, so all my creatures get a total of +13/+13 (with garruk's ability). And they all have trample.
I bring my opponent down to -24 life in one turn. I would've hurt them even harder if they didn't have a Phantom Nomad, which screws over trample.

This goes so well with my current green deck. This is far superior to Overrun when you have a bunch of (or maybe 1 or 2 surrounded by smaller, unimportant guys) big guys out on the field. Plus the mana cost is much easier to attain when its not a pure green deck. I love the idea of an 18/18 shrouded trampler swinging in, even if there's just one or two others stampeding with him. I also like the idea of plopping a Khalni Hydra in amongst a horde of little green creatures for free and then using this to give them +8/+8 and trample.
Of course, my tiny creature/token deck will still use Overrun, since the strongest they would ever really be is maybe a 3/3. It's not a definite improvement over Overrun, but it just suits different decks (and with the same mana cost, its not too big of a deal to run either over the other).
@Temple_Garden:
How on earth is not needing more to finish off your opponent a bad thing? I personally like seeing them go in ... (see all)

I seriously wish that people would stop comparing this card to Overrun. They are 2 completely different cards for different decks. In my wolf/saproling token swarm deck I will use a set of Overrun instead of this, but in my beastie deck with the likes of Molimo, Primalcrux, Feral Hydra, ect this card is perfect.

This is not better than overrun because you cannot create a weenie swarm, and i hope wizards comes to their senses in m12. Why do they always try to fix what isn't broken?

Works well with Green legends, avatars, huge monsters, wimpy creatures, flyers, tokens, etc.
If everything goes to plan; Game Over for all opponents of Mono Green...

Blech, why mess with a good thing? Overrun is a good, balanced, flavourful and card. It does what a green sorcery should do and it did it well. I can see too many scenarios where Overrun would be better than this. You rarely need more than +3/+3 to all creatures and trample to finish off your opponent. Cards like this work best in decks which have a large number of creatures, not big ones. Token decks and small elves will often find themselves wanting for the original. It has the potential to be better but I predict it will be used by less decks.

Does the +X/+X count as counters, If it does then Jeraga Warcaller would be the best creature to choose.
Example: You have 4 elves ( All are 1/1's) in play (+) Jeraga Warcaller he has five (5) +1/+1's counters on him, make all 4 elves 5/5's. (if this counts as conters ) play Overwhelming Stampede choose him as your creature giving ever one a +5/+5 as soon as those conters hit him, then all other elves get an additional +5/+5 on them. Now addther rest of the ability (trample) 1 elf is a 10/10w/ trample and the other 4 are 16/16 with trampe as well....... GAME OVER (mostly). But only if the +X/+X counts as counters......
