The sole reason that I even THINK about getting M11 stuff...besides for maybe Phylactery Lich...I preffered M10

mono green deck... hmm 10 open... 1 -> giant growth on chameleon colossus, 4-> double chameleon collossus (opponent looks unnerved by my 14/14), 5-> overwhelming stampede
swing with my 6 main beaters all at +14/+14 and trample

It's not a 'Win More' card, it's an 'I WIN' card.
Imagine: T1 Llanowar Elf, T2 Nest Invader, T3 Kozilek's Predator. Decent board position, but nothing too great, assuming of course it's not versus red and Pyroclasm/Slagstorm.
T4, Overwhelming Stampede = 3 spawns, Invader, and Predator each get +3/+3 and trample.
That's 20. GG.

How would this card work with say Hero of Bladehold? Would the tokens also get the bonus?

Not really Fun for my casual group, unless you happen to have flashfreeze handy ( mana leak probably won't work, the green has 3 spare mana) It's good game far too quickly and out of no where. Not fun for me :(

Im suprised to see that no one has posted the obvious combo of Omnath, Locus of Mana being built up over a few turns in a ramp deck. In a vintage deck I have used Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary with Instill Energy to mega-ramp the Omnath for a few turns. Add in token makers to make a large army, and then drop Overwhelming Stampede and roll in with tons of huge creatures.
example, you have 8 lands out...so with rofellos and instill you can add 24 mana a turn to your mana pool to pump the Omnath. after 4 turns, thats 96 mana, so the Omnath is a 97/97...so everything just got pumped 97/97 trample with using Overwhelming Stampede, even if you dont have many creatures out, its still a game over.
In standard its harder to mana-ramp as easily as the rofellos, but still do-able.

Turn 1: Forest, Joraga Treespeaker
Turn 2: Forest, Level up Joraga Treespeaker and tap to play Nest Invader.
Turn 3: Forest, Garruk's Packleader sacrificing the Eldrazi token. Then play Scythe Tiger.
Turn 4: Forest, Overwhelming Stampede and attack for 21.
OR
Turn 3: Forest, Play Thrun and Scythe Tiger.
Turn 4: Forest, Overwhelming Stampede and attack for 25. Providing that your opponent does have a kill spell, they'll most likely target your nest invader, denying you of 6 damage. If your opponent doesn't block this will leave him at 1.
Your opponent's response? I concede.

I would run this in my self-mill EDH (Yes, I know. Weird to run green, right?) as a great finisher. My Sewer Nemesis is a 45/45. NBD. No trample or anything. OH! Now all my creatures are gigantic tramplers!

This card saved my life one time.
Opponent: Okay, I'll hit you with my Slash Panther which has a Whispersilk Cloak AGAIN. You're at 5 life.
Me: Fine. (Plays Grave Titan.)
Opponent: I'll hit you for 4 more. You're at 1 life.
Me: Crud. (Draws card.) Overwhelming Stampede. All my guys get +6/+6 and trample. Game.
Talk about close calls. This card is a game-winner.

Insane with copy effects. The second one sees the boost of the first one, so you actually get +3X/+3X.
