Picture should have a Baneslayer Angel.

Since Titans have largely replaced the Angels this doesn't have the same appeal that it once did. Still a decent draft sideboard card if you can pick it up late.

This is rated higher than Baneslayer Angel because thats what people want to use it on.. =)

I don't think anyone has thought of this yet, but this card is very good at destroying Baneslayer Angel.

Contrary to popular belief, this card is quite good at killing things other than Baneslayer Angel.

Yay, baby! This past FNM, my opponent was playing with Gideon, Jace 2.0, Venser, and Karn. I sideboarded in the combusts solely to deal with his Gideon. He SBd a leyline of sanctity. So at first, I was like.....uhoh. I can't burn his planeswalkers anymore since I can't target the player and then redirect to the walkers. And then I remembered your post!

And he had his Gideon at 4 loyalty, and I was like, "Why don't you just turn him into a creature and end this game?" And he was like, "But then you'll just snap him." I told him to notice how Gideon's "ultimate" prevents damage when he's a creature (....kind of surprised he didn't know that). So he smiled and attacked. Then I cast this combust....he wasn't too happy with that.

Whatevs, man! He won 2-0 against me, and each game was a shutout in my opinion. I was just happy that I got to do this scenario. Felt great!
