A simple addition of "you may" would have made this perfect.
Still a 4/5 imo, very nice for stopping graveyard playing and it allows mill to deal with Eldrazi.

Put this in my Blue White mill deck. Had to Mulligan, but it was worth it.

Running a black/blue mill deck, I put two of these in just to be on the safe side, with some bokuja bogs and nihil spellbombs. Needless to say, this is my favorite of the 3!

This kills a lot of decks out there right from the start. KILLS THEM. If it was thought to stop turn 0 combo-wins, it's like fighting fire with fire.

"okay, with this PERFECT hand i might win very fastly" graveyard player

"okay, with this SINGLE CARD in my hand I WILL win before the match starts."

At least other cards such as tormod's crypt, even though harsh enough, would let you rearm again, but with this, oh hell I'm sad... and I haven't even played such decks ever, but this cards are just so mean, GOD I HATE THEM.

Among the myriad of other uses, this is also great for hosing the new planeswalker, Tamiyo.

Opening hand screwed over my Dralnu, lich Lord EDH deck. Had 4 turns to come up with removal. Solution? Blackmail and any number of discards, transmute my Perplex into Recoil, then cast. Lost a lot of Flashback potential. I hate this card. Forever

Looking at the other leylines (there are 2 of each color, black only has this) I can't help but feel that black was somehow cheated out of a potentially neat, less niche enchantment.
