It can't be countered and it doesn't suck so of course it costs a lot of mana.

This guys ooonly problem is his 5 toughness, and thats his ooonly problem. Seems pretty good, its going to be extremely hard to deal with this guy for sure. Between him and thrun, you can create a damn good board presences thats hard to beat save day of judgment.

Now, remind me, how is this not 5/5?
Only standard cards that come to mind in terms of removal are Consuming Vapors and Day of Judgment. Suffice to say, this thing is VERY hard to deal with.

Only easy way to get rid of this big mean mother hubbard requires taking a few steps back and looking at Glamerdye. Turn Doom Blade green with Glamerdye to take this mean bastard down.
