Perhaps somewhat less useful now that every control deck worth its salt is running a squadron of Squadron Hawks... but still quite good, especially if you can spit out enough dorks to keep it profitably online.

Awakening Zone is an obvious choice. Maybe a nice alternative win condition in a (likely not competitive) Mass Polymorph deck.

other than the scale - is that not really similar to the thing Indiana Jones picks up at the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark?

I'm thinking 4 of these, 4 Jinxed Chokers, 4 Jinxed Rings, some Ivory Masks, and Leyline of Sanctity, would make for an awesomely-shenanigans multiplayer deck. Maybe something to give my stuff shroud, and some Necrotic Plagues...
Am I a bad person?

hey guys, i have 3 questions to ask about sacrificing and using this artifact.
Im quite new to magic and still confused with a few things, so please help me out.
1st question. If my opponent has 2 jinxed idol and 1 creature under his/her control, and during his/her turn he/she sacrifices the creature to pass back the artifact to me. Does it mean he/she passes the 2 jinxed idol back to me or just 1 jinxed idol? Or he/she needs to sacrifice 2 creatures to pass it back to me?
2nd question. If i have jinxed idol and a creature card called Viscera Seer : 1 Black mana 1/1 creature from M11 with the abiilities : Sacrifice a creature : Scry 1 . When i sacrifice it does it mean the jinxed idol goes to opponent and i get to scry as well? Or i only can choose one?
Finally, If my opponent has jinxed idol and 2 creatures under his/her control, in my turn i cast Consuming Vapors to him/her. he/she sacrifices a creature due to the spell, does it... (see all)

@teocl86 Activated Vs. Triggered Abilities
You see the colon after (Sacrafice a creature)? This colon is the tell-tale sign of an activated ability. You probably don't recognize it since most activated abilities use mana, but in truth anything before a colon is esentially a "cost" for activating the ability. Most of your questions seem to be confused between Activated abilities (which require a cost, for example Fauna Shaman) and Triggered Abilities (which "trigger" when a condition is met, for example Mortician Beetle)
1st question - Since the hot potato effect is an activated ability, in order to give the idol to you, your opponent must sacrifice a creature as a cost. So let's say they sacrafice the creature to activate one of the idols. Much like how mana is used up when you cast spells, the creature is sacraficed as a cost
(Important to note that this "paying" does not use the stack, so your opponent could not doomblade the creature ... (see all)
