I like bouncing this with Venser in EDH. Play it, put -1/-1 counters on all of one player's creatures, then bounce it out and back in to put more -1/-1 counters on more creatures.

I don't care if this is practical or not. I love the idea of a Leveler-sized machine belching poisonous vapors and fluids all over everything.
And I mean, it kinda looks like a Leveler, in a way. Perhaps this is what was created from the old heaps across Mirrodin?

I'm using with my Kulrath Knights and my Master Transmuter just for the new creatures my opponents play. unless he runs removal it's mass pacifism time

If you're in the colors I heard that this is pretty good with stuff like Ajani Goldmane, Gavony Township and Mikaeus the Lunarch.

This is how the Contagion Engine works: It's actually just a Plaguemaw Beast and a Core Prowler-imprinted Prototype Portal in a box. You pay 4 and tap it to generate a Prowler, which is then eaten by the Beast, and Bob's your uncle.

So if I have a Dusk Urchins with two -1/-1 counters on it, and I use Contagion Engine's activated ability, do I draw three cards or four?
