Soooo if a creature that has 2/2 and I used poison somehow from last turn, does that mean, these rats will be 2/2 and their creature will be 3/3 now?

Or will my rats get buffed?

When I first looked at the Besieged set I saw this and thought "Wow, Infect gets a 3/3 for 3, this will make Infect pretty good." Then I saw Phyrexian Crusader. And remembered Ichor Rats.
