i think i have about 30 of these guys from two weekends worth or play, some common cards are far more common that other commons, ugh.

The flavor text kind of makes it seem like it can't get -1/-1 counters on it. It's actually not a bad card (for limited), also helps out Molder Beast and is a pretty good fatty regardless.

Let's see: A red vanilla creature should be roughly 4/4 for 4R, right? I could see it being 3RR for one extra point of power and a trample ability that has a high cost in most situations. Therefore, this card is overcosted by 1, even for a common. Just my opinion.
