I'm making a deck with 4 of this guy, 4 Distortion Strikes and 4 Vines of Vastwood. You guys can keep complaining.

That's pretty cool. There are ways of removing the counters on him. But it's worse than regular damage, though it is immune to deathtouch.

Darksteel Plate won't help him out at all. Indestructibility doesn't stop damage and therefore this creature will still shrink as usual. When he gets to 0 toughness, he'll go straight to the graveyard regardless of indestructibility (which only saves you creatures dying to fatal damage and destroy effects, not from being withered away to nothing).

Its a bomb in limited, won me 2 games at prerelease. Probably bad in standard, but whatever, it's not hideous. 3.5/5

Play with Vines of Vastwood for temporary protection/boost and Overwhelming Stampede. Have fun.

Everyone hateing on this card hasn't used it. remember, the more powerful a creature, the more epic having infect becomes. 7/7 infect for 5, that's like 8 mana worth, i think that drawback is worth paying in place of 4 mana, and it's green, how hard it is to give it trample?

get it to fly or make it unblockable and we'll see who sucks now! amazing as far as cost to power goes. creatures like this are why you need good equipments.
