@ Stronos:
The equip cost needs to be high like that. Otherwise, these cards would be nutty in limited.
Still, I doubt it'd be as nutty as the original Mirrodin limited. Loxodon Warhammer was an UNCOMMON.

Several cards from this cycle have silly and alliterative names. Sickleslicer (pity the kid with the lisp), Tangle Angler and Torpor Orb are the three that come immediately to mind. Little poems.

@blindthrall
I knew a guy who had one of those.
It wasn't pretty.
Anyone else a little concerned by how it's holding that knife and staring at you?

The card itself is great and balanced, but I just wish it were a common. Would make it easier to get, reliable in a draft, and could replace a useless common for all i care *cough* Rotted Hystrix *cough*

Why such a high equip cost on 90% of living weapons? Why ruin such a great concept?

great to cast but equip cost is too high, with Puresteel Paladin though this would be pretty good in limited. Surprised to not see this as common.

Pretty nice card here. It's a colorless Gray Ogre that can be used later on to make other dudes better.
