In my opinion, one of the best Phyrexian common card, with such potential and power, combined with First Strike... Almost broken! Casting it in the second turn can deliver quite a lot of damages if you don't play against red, and if the opponent chooses to chump block it, it almost always survives and take down creatures bringing card advantage...
Althought I don't like white so much, this is one of the card that suggests me to build a white deck. Maybe 
for pump it in the late game...

This thing is just amazing. Whether you use him as the defender role, or in an aggressive deck, there is little decks that he cant fit in. 2 life is hardly a drawback. 3 damage is a monster threat to get hit with early game, and first strike ensures that he can slay an elephant and live to tell about it.

One of the scarier soldier's I've seen. Probably the scariest two drop I've seen. This guy is a major, major threat, and is easily supportable.
Best of all, COMMON! Holy crap he's a great common! Any pauper deck should pack a couple.

This seems to be one of the very few reasons to add Gut Shot.
EDIT: I totally misjudged the power of Gut Shot seeing how this card rocks these days.
