I gave it a 5 cause its one of the cheapest removal for that Spellskite!

If only it dealt 5 damage. Combine it with Tezzeret. Make an artifact a 5/5 creature and then G.M. deals 5 damage to it.

Use with Liquimetal Coating to target any permanent. Not the greatest combo, but it is 4 colorless damage to any creature. I wish the second ability were "remove counters" as opposed to "remove charge counters" so that one could target a planeswalker when combined with Liquimetal Coating.

Even when not going against an artifact deck, this thing is cheap sac fuel for loads of Phyrexian cards.

Not the best, but I do love it because it has a neat interaction with other cards and the name sounds really cool.

Plus, from a flavor perspective, it's kinda neat. Phyrexia has invented mines that can devastate Etched Oracles and set Lux Cannons back by days.
