I've never had a better reason to go "Turn one, Tome Scour myself, go."

great for a quick win mill deck.. this is what I'm running at the moment - Boneyard Wurm-4, Deranged Assistant-4, Laboratory Maniac-4(only for late game), Splinterfright-4, Armored Skaab-4, Mindshrieker-4. (24 creatures). Forbidden Alchemy-4, Mulch-4, Dream Twist-4. leave comments.

Remember that unless your opponent have a self-mill deck as well, this card will be more efficient than lhurgoyf, since they would be unlikely to contribute as much dudes in the grave as you do. Mill yourself and bring the pain!

This is a recompensation for all the Mulch and Tracker's Instinct spells that fail - simply mill yourself a ton of creatures with Mulch, pump it and draw it with Tracker's Instincts, and it comes on your field bigger than any Legendary Eldrazi after at least 3 turns of mana-ramping with Mulch.

Loving the artwork. Haven't actually read the rest of the card.

Play as a 2 of in my Splinterfright deck but its almost always underwhelming. Most often it ends up getting cast as a 0/0 on turn 2 to get my splinterfright ready to go on turn 3

I really feel that this guy shouldn't had Trample, while his buddy Splinterfright should've stuck to the self-mill and whatnot.

This could be a good-unbelievable finisher in a Jarad/Essence Harvest deck. Also good with Varolz.
