Give him a Darksteel Plate and Worldslayer. Boom.

This seems like a great creature, it could be great with plenty of pumps...also, the "can't block" restriction is generally not a problem, cuz you won't be blocking with him, except in a pinch

This guy is a solid drop for any draft deck really.

I got the promo art of this from a buddy of mine. The artwork is so beautiful. The soul is holding her own screaming head as her robes billow around her.. I love it so much.

If you want to see it, but it looks so much better in real life. (Also, the link was googled, so no promoting was intended...)

Elegant design and a nice nod to shadow.
Also a good card for new players to 'discover' as a combo with other cards. Like a callback to some of the original combos like dwarven warriors + firebreathing + small creature.

I think Wizards often takes the "dumb-down the core sets" thing too far. There's no reason this couldn't have just had shadow.

Reminded me of a cheap Underworld Dreams for some odd reason when it came out. 1 Damage a turn in black with a possibility of more. 4/5!

Tormented Soul is unblockable, and therefore would never want to block.

One half of a dead Inkfathom Infiltrator. I don't know where the other half went.
