Someone talked about using these as "giant squadron hawks" - that is the purpose I see them fulfilling in my deck anyway.

These guys are awesome in a control deck. I have two, and its basically game over when he hits the board. Titans are awesome, but wait 1 more turn and drop this guy, then fetch any card in your deck to continue the beat down, or grab another control/counter card to neutralize opponent.

A must have in every Heartless Summoning deck. I play this guy with a Heartless active, then grab Phyrexian Metamorph and play it for one mana, copying this, then repeat the process. Most players scoop then and there.

Works extremely well with Conjurer's Closet. Heck, you can even search your deck for this specific card the first time you play it. And if you put him out with Kaalia of the Vast, then you most likely have 5 mana to cast the closet on the same turn.

This guy is a monster. Nine times out of ten, I use him to tutor another Rune-Scared Demon. I run with 4 so its really like an elite Squadron Hawk that gives me the option to pull a removal or a board wipe or anything really.

Just wondering how demons are the most reliable sources of "information" in the game when traditionally they are recognized as most deceptive and malevolent beings.
Very much out of flavor I think.

With Conjurer's Closet you can tutor two cards the turn you cast him. Nice. I would prefer that to Flickerform most of the time.
