One more mana and you could play Sleep. The thing that makes Frost Breath good is the instant speed. Instead of sleeping your opponent's creatures on your turn, you can Frost Breath at the end of their turn. That opens up your mana on your turn and gives you two turns where their creatures are tapped.

I'd say this is the perfect type of card to be put into a core set. 4/5

Only a 3.6 avg? I'm honestly very surprised. A few people have said it already, but the real power of this card is that you can catch your opponent pre-combat phase (upkeep, 1st main phase) one turn, and those creatures stay tapped for two whole turns of theirs AND two whole turns of yours, allowing you to get your creatures in and directly damage your opponent much more easily.

Also, running 4 of these will probably mean that, on average, a turn or two after the effect wears off, you'll likely have another one on hand to do it again (possibly even immedaitely afterwards). Creature denial doesn't get any better than this for mono-blue, with a few exceptions (see below).

Combine with the almighty Unsummon (this card can buy you whole turns on it's own if used properly), or even better Vapor Snag (adds injury to insult) for creature stopping power that would make a black and red deck jealous. Go old school and throw in some Propag... (see all)

Really not that bad at all. Sure, it won't see play in constructed, but it taps critters down for a while at instant speed. That can basically end an attack and leave them very open to a devastating counter attack. Not a bad card, IMHO.

Is that Frost Titan? I suppose so, it has his horns, his axe and his ability. What's that collar around his neck, though? It doesn't appear in the Titan's artwork.
Anyway, not terrible, but I'd rather play a Wall of Frost for its cost.

EDIT: I misunderstood this car. Unlike Wall of Frost, which is a defensive card desidned to stop attacking creatures, this is much better to clear out blockers. It works much like a mini-Sleep. Stopping two blockers with 3 mana is really good in blue aggro decks. Damn you blue aggro, always cathcing me off guard.
