It makes Vampire Nighthawk useless; that alone is worth three stars. That it kills things like Predator Ooze and Delver of Secrets makes it a four.

very nice. at the pre-release i had one of these and was always able to get good value out of it. Whether it is an inquisitor your creatures cannot touch or a nasty utility creature, this card is good bang for your buck, and since it only costs one it easily can be used to transform werewolves back as well provided you have another spell.

I like to think that the giant spiked ball smacks you before weighing you down.

The best black one-drop kill switch?
kills bears and down, and being a permanent instead of a one-shot effect like disfigure will seriously impede anything 5/4 and down. that's getting into Angel/Demon/Dragon territory.

Virde: Enchantment - Auras count as targeting. Check it 0ut. So you've been cheating :O

@Virde
that doesn't work.
303.4f If an Aura is entering the battlefield under a player's control by any means other than by resolving as an Aura spell, and the effect putting it onto the battlefield doesn't specify the object or player the Aura will enchant, that player chooses what it will enchant as the Aura enters the battlefield. The player must choose a legal object or player according to the Aura's enchant ability and any other applicable effects.
@SilverSkyz
Where? "Enchant Creature."
702.5a Enchant is a static ability, written "Enchant ." The enchant ability restricts what an Aura spell can target and what an Aura can enchant.
303.4. Some enchantments have the subtype "Aura." An Aura enters the battlefield attached to an object or player. What an Aura can be attached to is restricted by its enchant keyword ability (see rule 702.5, "Enchant"). Other effects can limit what a permanent can be enchanted by.
303.4a An Aura spell requires a target, which is re... (see all)

@MtFrostM: Rule 303.4 would seem to support the fact that it does work, as it states that it is limited by it's ability. This card does not say Enchant Creature W/o shroud or hexproof. This is the same idea as shroud or hexproof not causing existing enchantments to fall off.

My Sun Titan Control deck LOVES this card. Not to mention that when using Sun Titan's ability to fetch it bypasses Shroud and Hexproof since it's not 'targeting'.
Oh how your opponents will rage.

Gotta love to kill Delvers/Geists and Stalkers with this when my sun titan pulls it back (yes, u can attach it to hexproff creatures)
For who's saying that you cant do it. its wrong, you can do it, it doesnt target because its not being CAST, its just entering the battlefield. (Note that MTGO also allows this)
Just check cards like Quest for the Holy relic , same story , it could bring a equipment into a shroud creature.
