@Haters: Virde is correct.
There are several references to Auras working this way across many of the card rulings.
Oblivion Ring is a perfect example:
-If the exiled card is an Aura, that card's owner chooses what it will enchant as it comes back onto the battlefield. An Aura put onto the battlefield this way doesn't target anything, but the Aura's enchant ability restricts what it can be attached to. If the Aura can't legally be attached to anything, it remains exiled forever.
The last line is to prevent people from sticking Land auras on creatures.
For all of you newer players, this was how we were able to use Enchantment Alteration to sneak our Control Magic onto an opponent's Autumn Willow back in the day.
