Cool thing is that it is even useful against bigger Creatures, cause it weakens them.

Would've been more interesting if it was "Enchant Creature, enchanted creature gets -2/-2 and loses flying if it had it." and had the flavor text "Like a stone."

So, my friend said that since this card doesen't say "Enchant target creature" that I can only enchant my own creatures. Is this true? I'm pretty sure he is lying, but I just want to make sure.

GopZ, an opponent will not be able to put aura enchantments (that are cast as spells, per normal casting) on your hexproof creatures. Likewise an aura spell cast will not be able to be cast on a creature with shroud. Basically the nature of auras is such that they are implied to target when cast per rule 303.4a.
Knockerpuff, you can of course enchant creatures other than your own with deadweight. Your friend is lying or simply mistaken.

@Templar314
How do you know that the person in the art isn't about to die?
