When I play my *** Deck (Esper), everyone either waits to counter this or super cringes when I get it out. Add in a I Know All, I See All and everything very quickly becomes yours. (insert evil laugh here)

Seriously, one of the best uses of this card is to rob your opponent of all of their land along with their creatures.

@Capys. . .Actually I belive what Keiya is saying is that if you use the ability in one turn with Training Grounds out the total cost is 4 mana. the first ability would cost BlueBlue and the second ability would cost 1Blue. Great idea by the way.

By the way, any of you guys ever see the full art for this card?? I just looked at it in an old article (here it is: http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtgcom/arcana/508) about how the art was developed for some old cards, and I finally can see where Memnarch's face ACTUALLY is! He's one creepy looking guy though lemme tell you haha.

@Keiya: If there are 2 training grounds thats only 3 mana for any permanent. :)

I must be out of touch with EDH/Commander but who decided this? The rules are (or were) that the color identity is determined by the mana symbols in the casting cost. Why would this dude get an exception to this rule?

Do all colorless legendaries get their color identities from their activated abilities?
