Let's see... Feels blue? Yes.
Great effect? Yes.
Appropriately costed? Yes.
Flavor text? Winner winner!
My mind is spinning with the shenanigans. You're going to cast Haunting Echoes? Heh, okay.
If you ever question the value of this card, slide a copy into your EDH deck. Watch what happens when your opponent tries to cast Time Stretch. Worst case scenario, he already has Karn Liberated in play with 14 loyalty counters.

Run with Crushing Vines, as they both have awesome flavor text featuring two Planeswalkers, even though the art has nothing to do with said text.

I once suckered a friend of mine to trade throwing Archive Traps at each other with this in my hand. He was...unhappy about those 26 cards it cost him.

My favourite spell to Redirect is Distress. Not only you just 2-for-1ed them, you saw their hand as well!

Meh, I like swerve better....
The flavor text is funny though because in the comic when Garruk fights Jace this is what happens
Garruk: WHERE'S LILIANA!! >:c
Jace: MIND MAGIC! WoooOOOOooo--
Garruk breaks loose from the mind magic then proceeds to beat the shit out of Jace
Garruk: Bittch please..

I think your all getting confused as to Haunting Echoes if you would READ the card carefully you will find that the target player has NO choice but to search his deck for those cards AND exile them. You cant just search and "not find them" its the same idea as slaughter games, the target opponent can't search and just say oh i didn't find them in my deck. So if you redirect Haunting Echoes back to the person casting it. YES they MUST exile those cards they find in their deck.

If I used this on a spell with storm, like tendrils of agony, what happens to the copies?

@Angelknight118: From the comprehensive rules 1.4.2014:
701.15b If a player is searching a hidden zone for cards with a stated quality, such as a card with a
certain card type or color, that player isn’t required to find some or all of those cards even if
they’re present in that zone.
