Wizards are to SCARED to make every card playable. If they did, the value of the booster would go WAY down because u would buy less. Thats why they make playable commens and junk commens. There not STUPID. Its an unspoken truth when they design cards. No one wants to belive it but there very greedy people. Shure the love of the game is there, but its a buisness. And in there buisness there printing cardboard and selling it to you for 4 dollars.

It's actually pretty decent in limited. Granted, it was better in M10 and M11 since M12 is so much faster, but once this guy hits the board, he's going to stick around and block for a long time. If you want to use one offensively, then take a look at the art on Mighty Leap. The art director has a suggestion for you.

I think having a large vanilla and a small vanilla in each core set, for each color, showing its power/toughness relation to mana cost because of its color would be nice.
Perhaps the smaller or larger having the 'french vanilla' abilities, blue flying, white vigilance, green trample, red haste, and black... something, death touch maybe, would be another way to include a cycle that are somewhat interesting, and informative, teaching players in the least boring way possible.
Imagine this card with vigilance, maybe one less power, wouldn't it be cooler? In limited, wouldn't you be very glad to see it?

Maybe it could be a mirror of Chasm Drake except in white and trample? I like this card because I happened to open a foil one and it looks really cool. Also, I find that sometimes I have to go tricolor in limited, and this is easily splashable, and has a decent body.

I'm fine with Vanilla creatures; they aren't all stupid, but if you are going to put a vanilla like this in your deck, it shouldn't be so expensive and so weak. Also, I just saw in Dark Ascension a little dog that was exactly the same as this card but with a different name and picture. Anyway, this card sucks. 0.5/5
