For a 2cmc COMMON, Nighthawk, Stromkirk Captain, Noble, Blademaster, Olivia, etc. can all suck a nut. It's almost like a removal that keeps on removing.

Excellent if you know your opponent is playing a vampire tribal. Otherwise not so much. There are better equipment with CMC 2 and equip cost 1 (such as Cranial Plating, Manriki-Gusari or Lightning Greaves).
