I love Balefire Liege.
That's why I love rend flesh, but hate this card.

As opposed to, say, a leisurely exorcism.

@Paladin85: Keep the flavor text in mind:
"To show geists pity is to prolong their agonies. Whether they know it or not, they seek the Blessed Sleep, and we are to give it to them."
Dearly Departed may be a good spirit, but, as Mikaeus says, keeping them alive is to prolong their agonies, which in turn is an evil act. The only right thing to do is to give them the Blessed Sleep.
In the case of Dearly Departed, you could even go as far as to say that it blesses you for giving them the Blessed Sleep, since it gives you a benefit as long as it's in your graveyard. So by all means, even the "good" geists should be granted the Blessed Sleep, since it technically isn't a bad thing :)

Should have added Horror's to the list as they are in need of Exorcism and mostly evil unlike spirits
Besides some of the spirits in Innistrad are actually good guys (Dearly Departed, Geist of Saint Traft)

With how good some of the spirits seem this card might see a decent amount of play.

A guy at the pre-release used Evil Twin to copy my Voiceless Spirit and then kill it. Therefore, I decided an exorcism was urgently needed! :D
