My friends hate this card. I held off 376 3/3 deathtouch zombies with this card. My friend had a massive zombie deck that got half as big again each turn, but only 8 life. As long as I had 4 creatures to block with, he was powerless. Then I pulled a card that gave mine flying, and the game ended.
I've also noticed that this card can be even more useful against people with white decks. They get overconfident that they won't be losing life, but they end up tapping themselves out before my turn begins. Think of the havoc you can cause when you don't have to worry about instant spells!

I can dig this card's art. Also it's ability is very white.

Add in some Fog and let your opponent cry a little on the inside.

Can i pay 4 life to cast this card so that my opponent pay 4 life for each attacking creature he/she controls?

i have a funny story about this card
me and some friends were playing comander, i was running azorious control with Isperia, Supreme Judge as a commander, and the friend who ended up being the last guy against me was playing some g/w token build. he managed to get out a few thousand tokens with some janky combo.
and the next turn i plus two'd Gideon Jura and cast this
the look on his face was pretty great

Ya, this card is definitely an interesting item to have on hand. One or two in a deck can make for some unique gameplay.
