Anyone else think this might come in handy against control decks abusing the flashback? Or do they get their graveyard full too fast for it to matter?

I love playing this card against people who graveyard mine. Flashback better be played immediately, or not at all. Elixer of Immortality, when and if they get to play it, loses potency over time. I will admit it IS a little expensive, but it is a useful card, at least against opponents I play regularly.

Decent in limited in the second round against a deck that's using scaabs or flashback heavily. But it'll probably be too slow to stop cards like the lightning-fast Stitched Drake.

3.5 for the art. Thinking of using as side-tech against Delver, as it causes them issues. Either creatures they cannot Moorland, or spells that don't pump the pike.

This is the art that Blood Artist is drawing (without the colour added).

The best part of this is that Johannes Voss was the artist for both those cards (half-artist for this one).

I really like Voss' drawings...

His girl is bleeding from the mouth and looks like she's been rather murdered. This girl just looks...gone. Like she fell asleep and will never wake up.

It's bad. But it's here so there's a curse in common- you'll notice most curses are rare, and a few are uncommon. Besides, it's not really a replacement for things like Bojuka Bog, it's a follow up, preventing your opponent from "restocking" his or her graveyard without wasting two cards
