Is it me or does his hair look like Cloud Strife's dyed black?

Im not much of a standard player but Legacy doesn't think much about Jace 3.0
In legacy mill 10 will most often kill you than help you unless you are milling yourself. At which point why would anyone use a 5 CMC planeswalker to millbthemselves when dredge does it for free.
Among the non graveyard based decks in legacy a large portion runs emrakul thus being immune to milling. Then there are aggro decks like merfolk who can just islandwalk and trample jace.
if he only exiled cards instead

ummmmm, correct me if i'm wrong, but can you target a player multiple times with him?
(also, jace's dignity went away when the artist drew him with eye shadow)

I actually like this Jace.
He's costed right, his abilities (will make) sense, and he sorta reminds me of Zack Fair.
Although, in my Mono U mill deck, he won't be replacing anything any time soon. Until Zendikar rotates out, Archive Trap is staying put.

I wanna runeflare the crap out of someone after popping the -7. Just to do it. You know, because I'm that kind of guy.

Even with just his first ability, drawing an extra card each turn is a plus, regardless of milling. Of course, for that purpose alone five mana would be too much, fortunately Jace also have second and third abilities...

As someone who mainly plays Limited, his second ability seems terribly unfun. Don't have an answer for him in the next two turns? Sorry, you lose. And then there's 4-Booster Sealed. Have fun beating this card with a 30 card deck.

Jace, Memory Adept- Wizards way of apologizing for Jace, the Mind Sculptor.

Definitely not bad, though 5 mana PWs are never auto-includes in decks regardless of whether or not they're good. The +1 is card advantage for positive loyalty; the ultimate is enough CA that you should be winning off the back of it, and the 0 is definitely good in mill, but also good for graveyard based shenanigans.
Personally though, unless Innistrad offers some major love to graveyard shenanigans (which it seems like it will), I would've preferred v1 back due to excellent synergy with Sun Titan.

C'mon guys, this IS the guy that took down Sephiroth after all.
But on a more serious note, I seriously love this guy. Once the Eldrazi titans go out he's gonna get much more powerful, perhaps even moreso since Innistrad appears to involve the graveyard ala effects like Flashback, not to mention his potential in Commander if you can hit off his ultimate. Easy way to get other people on your side without a doubt.
