So you can make a guy either more likely to get in or keep your opponents guys from getting in. Sweet in limited.

I saw this guy on Innistrad's Most Wanted once. In all seriousness, though, this is amazing utility for Limited and I can see any deck running green using this.

JRE47 mentioned Wolfhunter's Quiver which makes a neat combination, but you're far more likely to see the this combined with Lightning Prowess which is from the same set.

He basically acts like an aura, that is more easily removed, but less likely to cause card disadvantage. I guess in usefulness, they are between auras and equipment. If you have a lot of pingers or first strikers in your deck, this guy is pretty neat. Otherwise, he is not.

Eh, it remains to be seen what impact, if any, the Soulbond mechanic will have outside of Limited/Standard. My guess is that these cards will be relegated to the same place as all those Soulshift cards. Still, it could make for a fun casual deck.

I wish the art wasn't so...disgusting. Seems like a really fun card, but wow, i hate looking at it.

Good with any first- or doublestriker for obvious reasons.
