Good card for the right deck. I only wish it had 2 toughness, my black-green Heartless Summoning deck would welcome more Falkenrath Nobles.

An excellent addition to my Orzhov deck- i used to run Falkenrath Noble, yet when i'm gaining as much life as i am with this, at such an incredible pace in EDH, a "tough body" is the least of my concerns or desires.

So for the longest time I thought he was looking at the canvas. Then just last night I was going through my cards, and realized he's looking AT me.

I'm currently running this in a standard deck with Falkenrath Noble, Bloodflow Connoiseur, Geralf's Messenger, and Gravecrawler. I love how this card gets out early enough to really make your opponent think twice about attacking you. It reverses the thinking because usually people block the big creatures and let the little ones through. Anyway, I just wanted to say... get a couple of these out, wait for the board to get a little crowded, then Killing Wave.

@CarlosLiberated Truly lovely combo. Toss in a few Falkenrath Aristocrats as well just to squeeze every bit of value out of your hasty humans.

I'm currently using this as a base for my Birthing Pod deck with the aforementioned combo with the help of Geralf's Messengers and Gravecrawlers. It does some serious damage.

You have no idea how game changing this is in my friend's sacrifice deck. EVERY TIME just when I'm about to win, he plays this and a Killing Wave, making me lose.

He's really fun to use with Bloodline Keeper + Mutilate. Pump out vampires and then mutilate the whole board. Your opponent will lose a lot of health.

My Undying deck loves setting up a delicious catch 22 with this, Gutter Grime, and Killing Wave. No opponent I have ever faced has survived.
