This'll be great in EDH, especially if you do something to shuffle their library afterwards.

You now KNOW their next draw, and prevent the from advancing their game, and remove a threath -- all at once.
It is better than an outright kill on any medium-low threaths.
Bump a bear and they're a turn behind, because they cannot draw a better creature or a land.
Force them to shuffle or put their top card in their graveyard to stop massive threaths.

Or just save a counterspell now that you know what card they're going to draw.

I love this card...

@ Shadowstorm42
A creature card is only a creature on the battlefield. If a card refers to a 'creature', it is always on the battlefield. If it could be returned from the graveyard, it would be reffered to as a 'creature card'.

Same goes for other permanents. You don't search your library for a land, you search for a land card. But if you destroy one that's already on the battlefield, it's reffered to just as 'land'.

Seems underrated. A card that nukes two draw steps and gains a huge amount of tempo on a regular basis has to be good. Especially with that art. Even if it costs 4 mana for its regular use.

Also, this card is a real star in a mill deck with something like mesmeric orb. Basically kills a creature, and even if you mill it yourself it's still pretty sweet when you get to enough mana.

Meh... if only it was an instant...
Now should I do This, or the WhiteWhite3 Cost one with Instant and no flashback?

I played both this and Griptide in my deck at the release party today. In my very last game, I played Griptide, this, this flashbacked and finally Crushing Vines. I just had two creatures, a 1/1 and Angel of Flight Alabaster, and I totally destroyed my opponent. He lost his single blocker/attacker four turns in a row.

At first I passed this card off as useless. A few cards later, I noticed Curse of the Bloody Tome. Creaturepwn.

I guess it's okay... it's card advantage, but the flashback comes soooo slow.

Oops, I actually assumed it was flashback 9U all this time, don't know why. At 7U, I might try to use it.

Wish it was an instant for that cost.
