It's an interesting mentality that works really hard to build a deck around something like this--you want to play a card game with other people, the point of which is to see fantastic things and interesting synergies, but you also want to prevent any of that from ever happening and just skip to the part where you win. I find it unrewarding to play that way, but I like that it's an option; the execution of black as a color reflects the flavor of black mana so well.

No way! This guy is insane, not only does he give you an outlet to put creatures in the yard to get rezzed later he can also dump madness cards. His spellshaper ability is Mind Twist which is just retardedly good.

Hmm, use him in a Psychatog/Madness deck. If you get either out, they'll speed you up... Just don't use them both at the same time.
