@nosidam3389: You don't target an attacker to block them. So, no. Lightning Greaves (or any other shroud effect) will not make you unblockable.

Ah, Lightning Greaves. The ultimate mana excel tool. What? You don't believe me? Allow me to explain.
Turn 1 (on the draw): Forest, Sol Ring, Lightning Greaves.
Turn 2: Forest, Birds of Paradise, equip it, tap to play another BoP, equip that one, tap to play another, repeat until you have four BoPs and an Arbor Elf. Equip the elf, tap remaining forest and sol ring, untap and retap forest, play Omnath, Locus of Mana.
Turn 3 (Not entirely necessary, but very fun): Draw and play a Seedborn Muse.

Fun Fact- Because Lightning Greaves can be equipped for 0, you can equip it to another creature, then target the original creature with the desired spell/ability, and after this for 0 you may re-equip Lightning Greaves. Congratulations! Your creature has pseudo-hexproof.

Its close enough to a cheaper, colorless fervor that also gives 1 creature at a time shroud. The one difference is that you cant give a fresh swarm of tokens haste, but most of the time thats not relevant.
The balancing team sucked hard in mirrodin, and it showed on like all of the uncommon.
